Need a Cheap Vacation? It’s Time to Visit Sweden

If you feel like taking a vacation to Europe, then you need to visit Sweden. Why? It’s quite affordable to visit the country. The dollar-euro exchange rate is horrible at the moment so cheap is not in. However, Sweden has not switched to the euro, making it cheap to visit. So it’s time to visit the city of Stockholm.

While visitors from Europe love to visit the United States, people who live in the United States love to visit Europe. Americans can travel to Sweden without the need of a passport.

If you don’t believe how cheap it is, compare the price of hotels in three European cities.

Stockholm – rates for hotels are $113 to $125.0
Rome – rates for hotels are $155 to $184.
Paris – rates for hotels are $167 to $222.

Now, remember these are just the rates for hotels of the region. Stockholm restaurants prices have already decreased in the past several years.

Airline tickets

A plane ticket from New York to Stockholm cost about $850. A plane ticket to Paris and Rome from New York costs almost $900. That’s a $50 difference. That’s $50 that can go with you on vacation.

Money isn’t everything, right? You want a vacation you can enjoy so it’s time to find out about the sights you can see while you visit Sweden. Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, has plenty to offer its visitors.

Stockholm is built on 14 islands so you always see water everywhere you turn. As you visit, you’ll notice it has a legally protected national park inside the city.

If you want to see a bit of history, then you need to city’s museums. There are approximately 100 of them. Each museum is geared to different age groups and most have free admissions.

After you are done sightseeing and shopping, relax a bit in the clean streets of Stockholm.
